Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens Bird Walk

What: Explore this National Park along the Anacostia for blooms and birds. We will walk a couple of easy miles on trails and open boardwalks looking at water lilies, lotus and hibiscus plants and searching for wading migrants such as herons and egrets. For more information, call 703-228-6535.
Participants should dress for the weather and bring binoculars, a drink, a bag lunch and snacks for the day. Trips often require walking over some uneven terrain or gentle slopes.
