Fort Scott Park Walking Tour

Built by the Union Army in 1861, this fort had a commanding view of the Four Mile Run Valley and protected approaches to Washington from the south. Explore the remaining earthworks while we discuss how and why the fort was built. Free, registration required for families ages 7 and up; children must be accompanied by a registered adult.
