REI - Introduction for Hiking Class

Where: Meet at REI Bailey's Crossroad, 3509 Carlin Springs Rd, Virginia;

Fee: $40 member; $60 non-member - Registration is required online.
What: Class location is at Pohick Bay Regional Park. Discover hidden local trails, and learn about the gear, techniques and skills you need to hike more efficiently. Plus, all trips will be accompanied by an instructor versed in photography, natural history or navigation.
Learn basic hiking skills such as route finding, emergency preparedness and personal health. Learn about the equipment that can make your hikes more enjoyable. Discover hidden trails in your backyard. Duration: 6 hours. For additional information, please email us at DC-OS@rei.com
