Wheels to Africa is a 501(c ) 3 nonprofit that collects bikes to ship to Africa. Wheels to Africa was started by an 11 year old Arlington boy, Winston Duncan, who decided he had to help people in Africa who need transportation to obtain food, water, medicine and go to school .
Since 2005, WTA has shipped over 2000 bikes to Africa. This year is the fifth annual Wheels to Africa bike collection. We want to exceed the 1000 bikes collected on one day in 2008. We need your help! Wheels to Africa requests a $10 donation with each bike donation to help cover the costs of collecting, shipping and storing the bikes. Everyone who donates will receive a 10% discount coupon toward a new bike purchase at a local bike store. For more information contact: info@wheels-to-africa.org
