County Stream Clean-Up

When: 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon
Where: Designated sites in Bon Air, Bluemont, Glencarlyn, Barcroft, and Shirlington Parks to help clean up Four Mile Run
Who: Ages 7 and up. An adult must accompany all children under 16 years of age.

What: Come celebrate 22 years of protecting and conserving our watershed for future generations! The Arlington County Park Rangers are calling all volunteers to help clean up our local streams. You are invited to join us at designated sites in Bon Air, Bluemont, Glencarlyn, Barcroft, and Shirlington Parks to help clean up Four Mile Run. Or, ifyou would like to coordinate a clean-up of another Arlington stream, give us a call and we'll help you get organized. This is a great activity for individuals, families, scouting groups, school groups, service clubs and anyone who wants to make a positive contribution to our environment. Volunteers should wear waterproof boots and bring work gloves. An adult must accompany children under 16 years of age. The activity is not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
