Cherrydale Volunteer Firehouse 100th Anniversary Celebration

Come join the Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department to celebrate the 100th anniversary of their firehouse – the oldest in Arlington.
Festivities will kick off at 10:00 am with a parade through the Cherrydale neighborhood, followed by an open house celebration from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm including special guest speakers, fire truck tours, firefighter demonstrations, a 1920’s themed dance party, history displays, and even a chance to squirt the fire hose (weather permitting)! Afterwards, games of “basket bingo” and silent auctions for prizes donated by local business will be held from 3:00 - 7:00 pm. All proceeds will go towards preserving the historic firehouse for another 100 years.
