Birding Trip to Blackwater

Where: Meet at the Lubber Run Recreation Center parking lot, 300 North Park Drive, Arlington
Who: Adults
Fee: $30 fee payable upon registration

What: Join us on an excursion to the 27,000 acre refuge of tidal marsh and woodland. Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is home to bald eagles, migrating waterfowl, and the endangered Delmarva fox squirrel. Participants should dress for the weather and bring binoculars, a bag lunch, a drink, and snacks for the day. A 1-3 mile loop walk is possible. For more information, call 703-228-6535.
