Bender Arena Sports Center,

Bender Arena is the home of the AU Eagles and is the venue for a wide variety of events throughout the year. Besides AU varsity basketball and volleyball contests, Bender has hosted concerts, speakers, and high school basketball tournaments.
Take Metrorail's Red Line to Tenleytown-AU. Exit the station and take Metrobus N2 (PDF schedule) toward Farragut Square to the stop at New Mexico Avenue and Nebraska Avenue NW. Walk a short distance southwest on Nebraska Avenue to the Reeves Gate entrance to American University, on the right. Enter the campus and walk straight ahead (northwest) until the road begins to turn to circle to the left. Take the last right turn before the road circles back, and walk straight ahead to the arena.
Byrd Stadium, University of Maryland
Field House Drive, College Park, MD
Byrd Stadium is the home of the Maryland Terrapins. Situated at the foot of the campus' North Hill, Byrd has undergone a number of major facelifts, three of which occurred in the 1990s and have resulted in its present form. The refurbishing of Byrd included new restrooms, bleachers and the stadium's first formal entranceway off of Field House Drive.
Take Metrorail's Green Line to West Hyattsville, exit the station and take Metrobus F6 (PDF schedule) toward New Carrollton Station to the stop at Campus Drive & Library Lane. Walk one block north on Library Lane, turn left on Fieldhouse Drive and walk three blocks west.
Camden Yards

Charles E. Smith Center, George Washington University
600 22nd Street, NW, Washington, DC
Smith Center's main arena seats 5,000 spectators and is the home of George Washington University men's and women's basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, swimming, diving, and water polo.
Take Metrorail's Orange or Blue Lines to Foggy Bottom-GWU, exit the station and walk one block east on I Street, NW. Turn right on 22nd Street, NW and walk two blocks south to Smith Center.
Comcast Center, University of Maryland
Terrapin Trail, College Park, MD
Comcast Center is the home of Maryland Terrapin athletics, with a seating capacity of 17,950 fans for basketball. The center also serves as a site for university special events and select community events.
Take Metrorail's Green Line to College Park-U of MD, exit the station and take the ShuttleUM Commuter Route to the stop at Stamp Student Union Bldg on Campus Drive. Walk east on Campus Drive one block to Regents Drive, turn left and walk about three blocks north to the center.
FedEx Field
Stadium Drive, Landover, Md
FedEx Field is home to the NFL Washington Redskins.
Take Merorail's Blue Line to Morgan Boulevard. Exit the station and walk north on Morgan Boulevard less than one mile to FedEx Field. Metrobus shuttles have been discontinued due to new federal transit regulations.
Nationals Park
Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals baseball team, is located in Southeast Washington along the Anacostia River. The park is bounded by South Capitol Street to the west, N Street to the north, First Street to the east and Potomac Avenue to the south.
Take Metro's Green Line to Navy Yard. Nationals Park is a half block from the station. The park is also accessible by Metrobus and even provides valet parking for bicycles. See the Nationals' "Directions to National Park" page for details.

Patriot Center
George Mason University

Sports events at George Mason University are held in the Patriot Center on the Fairfax Campus.
Take Metrorail's Orange Line to Vienna/Fairfax-GMU. Exit the station and take any City of Fairfax CUE bus to the GMU campus. From the campus bus terminal, walk southwest along Patriot Circle to the Patriot Center. Note: Check the schedules on the City of Fairfax CUE website to make sure bus service is available at the time you plan to travel.
Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium (RFK)
East Capitol Street, Washington, D.C.
Historic RFK Stadium is home to DC United, Washington D.C.'s men's professional soccer team; and Washington Freedom, Washington, D.C.'s women's professional soccer team, as well as being a popular venue for concerts and other events.
Take Metrorail's Blue or Orange Lines to Stadium/Armory. Exit the station throught the Stadium and Armory exit, walk a short distance to East Capitol Street, turn right and follow East Capitol Street to the stadium.
Verizon Center

Verizon Center is home to the NHL Washington Capitals , NBA Washington Wizards, and WNBA Washington Mystics. The center also hosts other sporting events as well as concerts, conferences, and other events. Not the least of this impressive facilities amenities is it's easy accessibility by Metrorail. Verizon Center is directly above the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metrorail station.
Take Metrorail's Red, Yellow or Green Lines to Gallery Place-Chinatown.
