Attention CommuterDirect.com Customers: New Account Holders May Not Use Checking Accounts for Payment

Effective 11/1/09, Commuterdirect.com will no longer accept checking accounts (e-checks) for new customers. This applies to new accounts only and will not affect current accountholders. Existing customers with active accounts in good standing (no delinquent balances) will be able to continue using their checking accounts as a payment method. All new customers that prefer to use their checking account may use their debit/check card (card must have Visa/Mastercard logo on the front) as a viable replacement for checking accounts. Once their card information is entered into their wallet, orders will process similar to checking accounts. The debit/check card transaction will automatically debit funds from their checking account. Debit/Check cards are more convenient and reliable than e-checks, while still allowing customers to utilize their checking accounts to pay for CommuterDirect orders.
