Work and Home Locations Included in the GRH Program
Please note that the locations listed below are subject to change, and that Commuter Connections will consider, on a case by case basis, home locations not listed. Work Locations Included in the Program
To be eligible, a commuter must be physically working in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) as defined by the United States Office of Management and Budget. The MSA includes:
Washington, D.C.
Maryland Counties: Calvert, Charles, Frederick, Montgomery, Prince Georges. All cities within these counties are included in the program.
The City of Alexandria, Virginia
Virginia Counties: Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon, Prince William, Stafford. All cities within these counties are included in the program.
Home Locations Included in the Program
Eligible commuters can live anywhere inside the MSA (locations listed above) or in any of the following areas:
Maryland Counties: Allegany, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Caroline, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Harford, Howard, Kent, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, Talbot, Washington. All cities within these counties are included in the program.
The City of Baltimore, Maryland
Virginia Counties: Caroline, Clarke, Culpeper, Fauquier, Frederick, King George, Lancaster, Madison, Northumberland, Orange, Page, Rappahannock, Richmond, Shenandoah, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Warren, Westmoreland. All cities within these counties are included in the program.
The City of Fredericksburg, Virginia
The City of Winchester, Virginia
Pennsylvania Counties: Adams, Franklin, York. All cities within these counties are included in the program.
West Virginia Counties: Berkeley, Hampshire, Jefferson. All cities within these counties are included in the program.
