(I-95/I-395):
On (I-95/I-395) the HOV lanes are barrier-separated traffic lanes, which, during 6 to 9 in the morning and 3:30 to 6 in the evening, are restricted to vehicles that have 3 or more people.
(I-66):
On I-66 inside the beltway, all eastbound lanes are restricted to vehicles that have 2 or more people during the hours of 6:30 to 9:00 in the morning and westbound lanes are restricted to vehicles that have two or more people during the hours of 4:00 to 6:30 in the evening.
On I-66 outside the beltway,
the HOV lane is the far left lane and is restricted to vehicles that have 2 or
