Everything from A to Z to Help Transportation Planners & Marketers Get from A to B
Welcome to Arlington County's Transportation Demand Management Research Center. This is an online resource center created for transportation planners, marketers, and residents who want to learn more about Arlington County's transportation system and the County's transportation demand management (TDM) programs and services (car and vanpool assistance, transit, walkways, Commuter Stores, employer programs, etc.) that make the system work.
This site contains dozens of TDM-related marketing research studies and reports conducted by Arlington County Commuter Services (ACCS) and other leading transportation agencies serving Northern Virginia and the Metro Washington region. Collectively, this body of research serves as ACCSs knowledge base the strategic direction and rationale for many of ACCS resident-centric initiatives.
You can quickly tap into this knowledge base by choosing a topic at left or searching for a study or report below. This site also contains ACCS comprehensive Research and Evaluation Plan - how ACCS tracks and evaluates the impact of the programs and services it provides.
This site is a joint venture between the Southeastern Institute of Research, LDA Consulting and Arlington County Commuter Services. For more information, contact Howard Jennings at hjennings@transpartners.com.
