Intro to Birding Walk: Gulf Branch Nature Center

Where: Gulf Branch Nature Center, 3608 Military Road, Arlington
Who: Adults and families with kids ages 12 and up; children must be accompanied by an adult.
Fee: Free; registration required.
What: Learn the basics of birding and the common birds found in our area. No experience necessary. We'll review the basics of binoculars, field guides, and field marks for our common birds. On this walk, we'll search for common birds and spring migrants along the wooded Gulf Branch stream. Dress for the weather. For more information, call 703-228-6535.
