After submitting this information you will be asked to go click on link in an message
sent to the email address you provided.
Once you have clicked the link in the email, you will be asked to create your Email News preferences.
Until you have submitted your preferences, the following message will appear at the top of the form,
"Account not active. Make selections and click 'Create My Preferences' button"
ART Alerts Users
Sign in with your email address and ART Alerts password.
Once you have signed in you will be asked to update your Email News preferences.
Until you have submitted your preferences, the following message will appear at the top of the form,
"Account not active. Make selections and click 'Create My Preferences' button"
CommuterDirect Users
Email News subscriptions are separate from your CommuterDirect
account. You must create a new account to subscribe to Email News
(see "New Users" above).
Activating Email News
To insure against unwanted email, we require that you respond to an automatic email after setting up your
account.
You will not be able to create your preferences until you have clicked on the link contained in the
"CommuterPage.com Email News Confirmation" email.
Clicking the link will verify your email address and take you to the preferences screen.
Email Preferences
Step 1: You can sign up for either or both of the two daily mailings:
The Commuter News and Events mailing summarizes each day's top stories related to commuting and transportation in the Washington, DC area.
The CommuterPageBlog mailing gives you the full text of each day's new posts in the CommuterPageBlog.
You must select at least one of the mailings.
Step 2: All Commuter News and Events items are categorized. If you have signed up for this service, select as many categories as you like. Again, you must select
at least one category. Hint: Headline News includes important stories from many different categories. Use the
"Select All/None" box to check and uncheck all the categories.
Step 3: Once you have made your selections, remember to the click either the "Create Preferences" or "Update
Preferences" button.
