Throughout the country, employers and communities are responding to the growing challenges and impacts of commuting by participating in Commuter Choice, a nationwide partnership designed to help employers create customized solutions to their employees' commuting challenges. Commuter Choice is a system of alternatives to driving alone, including:

• A balanced array of transportation services
• Commuter information
• Employer-provided commuter benefits

Commuter Choice is an essential part of our region's transportation system; one-third of commuters take advantage of Commuter Choice daily. As a local provider of Commuter Choice, Arlington Transportation Partners (ATP) provides a multitude of services to help you and your company develop a viable, effective, and cost-saving Commuter Choice program.

ATP's services include the following:

Commuter Benefits Plan - We can help you develop a commuter benefits plan customized for your worksite and employees' needs.

Support for you, Commuter Benefits Coordinator - You establish a contact person through whom we provide our services. Through this person, ATP provides the transportation benefits you want for your employees. We do the work, and you and your business take the credit for providing low-cost commuter benefits.

Commuter Services - We can link your employees with the services of other agencies, such as free car and vanpool ridematching, vanpool discounts, the Guaranteed Ride Home program, tax-free transit benefits, and The Commuter Store.

Employee Transportation Survey - We can administer this valuable tool to understand your employees' commuting patterns and needs.

Parking Management - We can help you develop strategies to reduce the demand for costly parking spaces at your worksite.

Events and Promotions - We can help you promote commuter services at your worksite through employee-oriented seminars, special events, and participation in transportation or benefits fairs.

Relocation Assistance - We can help you reduce the negative impacts of relocation (such as employee attrition) by analyzing your company's relocation issues and providing recommendations.

Transportation Information Display - We can help you set up an attractive bulletin board and brochure unit and keep it stocked with transportation information such as transit maps and schedules and ridesharing information, all customized for your worksite.
