Promoting your commuter benefits program is essential for participation. Transportation fairs are a great way to promote your commuter benefits programs. A simple tabletop or booth display filled with brochures, flyers, and giveaways pertaining to alternative transportation options can help to create excitement amongst your employees. During the fair, ATP will educate and assist your employees in finding the best commute options for their lifestyles and your business. All you will need to do is:
- provide food and drink if time and space allow;
- assist in set-up if required; and
- determine audiovisual needs for ATP as well as for your fellow employees.

- Advertise - One way to guarantee getting your employees' attention is by advertising on or in the media they use most often such as:

- E-mail notification system
- Post flyers - Design your own promotional flyers using clip art and desktop publishing, and post flyers at least two weeks in advance in places where people gather, such as hallways, elevators, and the cafeteria.
- Personalize - Can you get a list of people who will attend the transportation fair? If so, why not send them a personal invitation to attend? Personalized invitations are much more motivating than generic invitations and they show each employee that you care about their individual commuting needs.
