What is STAR?
Committed to serving residents with disabilities, Arlington County's STAR (Specialized Transit for Arlington Residents) is Arlington's pre-arranged trip service. STAR provides service by reserving a trip for patrons through Red Top Cab or STAR minivans operated by Diamond Transportation Services. The STAR service is available 5:30 am to midnight, 7 days a week, anywhere Metrobus or Metrorail service is available. There are no restrictions on the purpose of a trip.
