Car-sharing is a system of shared access to vehicles parked in your community or at nearby transit stations. Users can pick up a clean, maintained automobile with a full tank of gas and drive it for as long as needed and only pay for the time and mileage they use. Zipcar provides car-sharing opportunities to residential communities and individuals in the Washington, D.C. region. Where are car-sharing cars located? Car-sharing cars are currently located throughout the District of Columbia, Montgomery County, Prince George's County, Arlington County, Fairfax County, and the City of Alexandria. The following Arlington areas have car-sharing vehicles available for use: Ballston Metro Station Clarendon Metro at Gold's Gym Court House Metro Station Crystal City Metro at Crystal Drive Crystal City Metro at South Eads Pentagon City Metro Rosslyn How ATP helps ATP can help you learn and get more involved with Car-sharing in a variety of ways by: - Providing information about Car-sharing for you to distribute to your residents.
- Helping you bring a Car-sharing staff member to your community to share information with your residents and/or sign them up to become Car-sharing members.
- Potentially providing money from Arlington County to waive Car-sharing application fees for your residents.
- Helping you get a Car-sharing car stationed in your community.
