Getting Around Lee Highway

Metrobus Rt. 3 operates along Lee Highway, connecting the neighborhoods along the corridor to each other and to the Rosslyn and East Falls Church Metro stations. ART 51 and Metrobus 23 intersect Lee Highway and provide transporation to Ballston. The Custis (I-66) Trail parallels Lee Highway on the eastern end of the corridor, providing an important route for bicyclists. Metrorail

Regional rail service for the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

  • Lee Highway locations – Although there are no Metrorail stations within easy walking distance of most of the Lee Highway corridor, there are stations at both ends of the corridor - East Falls Church on the western end and Rosslyn station on the eastern end. In Metrobus service along the corridor connects to either station. Residents near the center of the corridor also have access via ART and Metrobus to the Ballston-MU station. Bike trails and routes also provide access to any of the three stations.
    • East Falls Church station – on the Orange Line. Located in the median of I-66 at N. Sycamore St.
    • Rosslyn station – on the Orange and Blue lines. Rosslyn Metro Center, between Ft. Myer Dr. & N. Moore St. Elevator (handicapped access): N. Moore St., across street from Rosslyn Metro Center
    • Ballston-MU station – on the Orange Line. Located at Ballston Metro Center, N. Stuart and N. Fairfax Dr. Elevator (handicapped access): N. Fairfax Dr., between N. Stuart St. and N. Taylor Sts.
