Getting Around Ballston

The Ballston-MU Metro station, on Metrorail's Orange Line, is the focal point of Ballston. This urban village is also served by several Metrobus routes, all connecting to the Metro station. ART - Arlington Transit, Arlington's local bus system, operates several routes in Ballston. Bicyclists can get in and out of Ballston via the Custis (I-66) and Bluemont Junction trails, and use on-street trails and bike lanes within the neighborhood. Bicycling

• Bike Access – Both the Custis and Bluemont Junction Trails provide access to Ballston near the intersection of I-66 and Fairfax Dr. Fairfax Dr. has bike lanes throughout Ballston. Access to the Custis Trail is also available via Quincy St. near Washington-Lee High School.
• Bike Parking – Bike parking is available at the Ballston-MU Metrorail station, at the Ballston Common Mall, both outside and in the parking garage, and at on-street locations throughout Ballston.

• Location: Corner of N. Stuart Street and Ninth Street, approximately one block north of the Ballston Commons Mall (Wilson Blvd and North Glebe Road) and south of the Ballston-MU Metro station.
