Getting Around Virginia Square
The Virginia Square-GMU Metro station, on Metrorail's Orange Line, is the focal point of Ballston. This urban village is also served by several Metrobus routes, all connecting to the Metro station. ART - Arlington Transit, Arlington's local bus system, operates four routes that reach into Virginia Square. Bicycling
- Bike Access – Fairfax Dr. has bike lanes throughout Virginia Square connecting to Ballston and Clarendon. North Quincy and North Lincoln Sts. provide access to the Custis Trail. North Jackson St. provides a good connection to the Arlington Blvd. Trail. Kirkwood Rd. has bike lanes connecting to Lee Hwy.
