Pentagon City Metro Station Escalator Canopies
Project Description
As part of Metro’s approved Comprehensive Escalator Canopy Program, Metro has designed and installed signature canopies over the outdoor escalators at the Metro station in Arlington’s Pentagon City. The canopies will protect the escalators from the weather and thereby improve reliability and passenger convenience. The canopy design is similar to the one installed at the Virginia Square Metro Station. The community has endorsed the signature canopy design. Metro funded and managed this project for Arlington.
