Workmen prepare forms for concrete to create the elevator shaft for the new elevators on the southside of N. Fairfax Dr.

Workman removes pieces of steel used to support excavation while standing on top of the newly completed passageway to the southern elevators.

The steel framing for the new elevator structure in front of Nature Conservancy can be seen in this picture. The final product will resemble the existing elevator.

Workers can be seen assembling the new elevator head house behind the existing station elevator..

Workers remove the molding for the newly poured concrete wall and the southern end of the passageway under Fairfax Dr. which includes the openings for the new elevators to the surface in front of the Qwest Building.

Workers inspect the concrete finish of the completed eastern wall of the passageway between the station and the new southside elevators.

Continued excavation at the South Construction Zone below the third tier bracing.

New support steel for the exterior wall on the south side of the station.

Saw cutting operation on the west side of the north wall in the north construction zone.

Cutting operation to complete the cut through of the coves on the opposite side of the wall from the photo immediately above.

Completed tile set in the new north employees' restroom.

Shoring posts in place on the north side in order to allow the final horizontal cut across the north elevator lobby opening.

Final portion of saw cutting operation on the north side above the cove. Workers will now begin chipping out the area that has been cut.

Interior with south partitions removed, allowing saw cutting operation on the south side to begin.

Inside of the partition on the south side with the ceiling tile removed.
